Dropped Camera? Can I fix it with manufacturers warranty?

I accidentally dropped my camera (Casio Exilm z80) and the metal casing around the camera got knocked out by about a millimeter. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem but since the casing got pushed up less then a millimeter, now the zoom on is jamming. It still works, but it is jammed and you have to press hard on it for it to zoom and then you have to move it back to the normal position and do the same thing for it to zoom more. I just bought the camera a month ago and it's under manufacturers warranty still. Can I send it in to get fixed? Will they fix a dropped camera? How long will it take?
