Ladies who have had jobs! job's and diet pills?

I am a workoutaholic and I take atleast a full diet pill a day. I am researching jobs and plan on getting a consultation within the next month. My question is, do I need to stop taking any type of pill (outside of meds) before my surgery? I heard it thins your blood during surgery which is dangerous.
