Does anyone know of Sir James Bruce chief justice of Barbados?

Sir James Bruce had a son called Robert Bruce who is not mentioned in the records. Why is this? This Robert Bruce died in Accra in the Gold Coast and his descendants still live there. Can anyone give me information on Robert Bruce? Was his mother Keturah or did he have another mother?
