Why does every seem excited by the new year,it's just another day?

do people think that because it a new year that my life is so much going to improve.people have to come down and have a reality check.i think of it as a continuation of yesterday.a new year if there was one would be my birthday so theoritical im only halfway through a year.still got to put in hard work just like last year .it just doing it again their nothing special it just this is in some people eyes a new beginning but calm down,people are acting like kids.to me there is no beginning it a never ending process.if you suffer burnout from last year you will carry it into this year.a fact
