If i cant get him back, how do I get over him?

may i start off by saying sorry. I no how you feel and it can be a very hard time to get through and to try and concentrate on other things when everything reminds you of that one person. As in a solution to you're problem? you want him to come back to you, of course you do you have been together for so long and you went through a very hard time together and i hope you never have that grief to deal with again. He left you because he felt he was being choked, and hled to the point where he didn't feel free. Now if you are obsessing over him and calling him all the time begging for him back it will just remind him of what it was like being with you and that's why you are getting such blank responses. I agree that if you truly love someone you have to make sacrifices. whether that's changing to make them happy or giving up time to communicate with them better it needs to come from both sides. Wait a while. Give it a month or two. and if nothing happens call him one last time. Dont rush into things be casual. ask him how he is and how he has been getting on. Now this is the time to show him you have changed. Thank him for the wonderful years you have had together. Let him no that even with all the arguing and hard times it made it easier because he was there by your side. And finally then is when you say that you are still deeply in love with him and if there is any chance that you can be together again let it be now. other wise respectfully say that you love him enough to let him be and that you wont bother him again. That is your best shot hun. Your first love is never easy, i had to get over mine and now im with the girl of my dreams.
