Ipod Touch Restrictions?

Ok I gave my friend my ipod touch and he jailbroke it which is sweet but then when i synced my songs back up all the songs that were labeled EXPLICIT were not synced.. I think it's a decent policy...lol. I personally don't have a problem with some location names and surnames, although I probably wouldn't use them for my child. I do think a lot of clic names were once only surnames (williams, Adams, etc). So those are fine in my opinion, but it depends on the specific name itself not whether it's considered a surname. As far as trendy & common names...I am so with you!!! I can't stand any variation on aiden(kayden, hayden, brayden...all so trendy) or lee/lyn names. And I swear I'll scream if I hear the name isabella or Sophia again...lol.

Should I leave my mother alone?

I live in S Carolina with my husband and three kids. My husband is from Texas and all of his family lives there. The only person that lives in S Carolina is my mother who is 73 and miserable. My husband wants to move back to Texas and raise the kids around family (lots and lots) of family. The problem is my mother, she won't leave and come with us but how do I leave her? I have two brothers that live in other states and she will not go with them either. My kids don't like living here and say how it's so boring and Grandma never wants to do anything.My mother is not the family type but if I tak them away she will have noone. We don't have jobs there and would be starting all over. The kids beg us constantly to move there so they can be a part of a big family. I worked a temp job for a month and was offered another ignment for an additional four weeks because they liked my work. The weeks I worked the temp job disqualified me for regular unemployment benefits because it was more than my weekly benefit amount. However if I didn't work the temp job at all my regular benefits would have exhausted by November 12, 2010 before the extended benefits qualification date November 20, 2010 . But since I did work and decided to work the additional weeks, I will miss the payout deadline for Extended Benefits. I was concern about this and called Unemployment, and the rep told me, if I wouldn't had worked the temp job I would have qualified for EUC and then he proceeded to tell me to work less hours. I am used to wearing maybelline new york eye shadow and mascara, cover girl blush, and just pretty much any pretty lip gloss/stick. I am wondering if it's a good idea to start using department store makeup like clinique or lancome. Is there much of a difference? On Xmas I spent $96 on a 4 set of clinique pore minimizing treatment. I've been using it and it seems okay but I tought the results would be better. My neighbor just lost her husband last night in a motorcycle accident. She is only in her early thirtys with three children to take care of. Her middle son plays with our son. Dropped Camera? Can I fix it with manufacturers warranty?

I accidentally dropped my camera (Casio Exilm z80) and the metal casing around the camera got knocked out by about a millimeter. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem but since the casing got pushed up less then a millimeter, now the zoom on is jamming. It still works, but it is jammed and you have to press hard on it for it to zoom and then you have to move it back to the normal position and do the same thing for it to zoom more. I just bought the camera a month ago and it's under manufacturers warranty still. Can I send it in to get fixed? Will they fix a dropped camera? How long will it take?

Children will be using these lanterns. Metal would be preferable or clay. Oil lamps may also be an idea. Is there a church out there with any brilliant solutions to safe use of candlelight in church. ? It is a Medieval church so glow-sticks aren't really an option. Question about huge flies that keep popping up in my apartment?

I keep having these oversized flies popping up in my apartment complex. They are huge! Slightly smaller than a carpenter bee. I sprayed one and killed one this morning but here is my concern. I sure the fly is carrying maggots and I don't want maggots hatching in my apartment and getting on me or my dogs as this could be a health problem. Also it's cold and I can't figure out where they could be coming from. I thought flies came out in the summer?? Should I refinance my paid-off house if I'm going to rent it?

I have a paid for house. I would like to rent it out and live in a rental property elsewhere for the time being. Net-net, it seems that my housing cost remains the same but that my tax liability could sky-rocket from this situation. If I refinance a large portion of the house, can I then deduct the interest cost as a business expense to substantially lower my tax liability? I am thinking of adding a shower in a bathroom that is on a slab. I would like to use PVC pipe from the shower drain and connect the same to copper drain pipe of the toilet. They will be just next to each other and will not need lot of digging. If the food is wrapped then yes. But I would empty it and wipe the inside with full strength 5% vinegar and let it dry then replace the food. In the future unplug it every month overnight with the food in and lid closed. Pack the base with towels and the floor. Far easier and safer. Better yet as the weather gets warmer remove the food to coolers and leave it open and unplugged for a few hours preferably outdoors. Aways wipe it down inside out and along the gasket with the vinegar.

Well I am sure she ped it. I have a little "goat". She is a miniature dachshund and I come home from work one day to find that she ATE a Dr. Pepper can. I freaked out because of course this is metal. Metal and internal organs? Ha, not good. Well, somehow, it all ped and she is completely fine. My oldest dog has the thing where she throws up foam and walks all funny and she has been diagnosed as having seizures so she is on seizure meds. She had 8-10 a month and now she is fine. Hey, for the past year I kinda feel kinda shitty. When I was younger I was very sociable and loved making people laugh and I was a pretty outgoing person. Now ( I'm 16 ) I'm scared to say anything because people started being really mean to me ( no idea why ) a few years ago. I have only something like 10 friends and only 2 close ones where they both don't even spend time with me anymore because they are in a different school and party all the time. I can't even pride myself on being smart. I get average grades at a hard school. Where some people don't study and do really well, I don't study and I do poorly. I do things the day before because I get really stressed out. I'll probably graduate with a 82% avg. The only thing I love is computers and I don't do anything with friends/sports except tennis/badminton/taekwondo. I'm such a shy little **** and I hate when other people talk about how much fun they had at a party/get together because I don't get invite to anything. I pretend not to like those things but I actually genuinely like having fun with people. I just... can't get comfortable with people anymore. Also, I'm so bad at talking to girls now. Two years ago I had problems keeping the girls away and now I don't even bother with them. If they are attractive, it makes me feel really awkward and I just try to avoid situations like that. I hate that I can't just enjoy life again like I did when I was younger but have to watch things p before my eyes. This time of my life is supposed to be the most fun, so why the freaking hell am I playing video games. Someone at my school parties all the time, super popular, pretty, involved in sports/activities and has highest grades in school. What the hell is my life worth if there are people like that.

I have snowboarded a total of about 12 days on vacation but am soon going to college at Colorado @ Boulder and am planning to get my own board and snowboard frequently at the nearby Eldora Resort. How can I improve my APFT fast?

For a long time I've been unable to do most excersice due to medical reasons. Those problems are now gone, and I have an APFT (army physical fitness test) coming up that I've just found out about last week. Up untill I found out about it, I was basically just doing my physical therapy workouts, with a few more serious excercise's thrown in every week. As soon as I found out about the test, I stepped up my regimen but I am still no where close to ping and the test is around Aug 1st. I've been taking some protein and BCAA's to help, but every time I give myself a mock APFT I fail at least the pushups and run. My workout routine as is: Muscle failure for pushups monday and wednesday, the 8 minutes of pain workout on tuesday's and thursday's, and a two and a quarter mile run after each workout every day. Friday I do a self check (the mock apft mentioned earlier) and saturday I do workout's targeting my weakness from the previous week. I have seven days of workout time, counting today, and I'd like to double my pushups, add around ten to my situps and shave about two minutes off my run time. This will put me into that ping score I'd need. The only option I can think of is to go ahead and continue my routine as is, fail this upcoming APFT and then hopefully p the makeup test, which I'd like to say is in September.

may i start off by saying sorry. I no how you feel and it can be a very hard time to get through and to try and concentrate on other things when everything reminds you of that one person. Ok so my boyfriend and I have been living together for a little over 2 years, and the fool is addicted to playing video games. He works and goes to school part-time, and the rest of the time he is gaming it up on his ps3. How long will felt paper last without shingles?

If I have a circle that is 710' tall I go up 355' to the center of my circle. From there I go up 147' and draw my chord from one edge of my circle to the other. I then have 208' to the top of my circle left.How do I figure the length of that chord. I have a formula of, HYP^2=147^2+X^2, to get a half of the triangle and then just double it for the length of the chord, my problem is figuring the hypotenuse? Low back pain while standing still for 30 seconds?

I had surgery for severe sciatica over a year ago. Immediately, my sciatica was gone, but also I had a larger surface area low back pain. My surgeon said essentially to suck it up because I had surgery it probably hurts still. (This was fair at the time. He did do a 2nd MRI and found nothing). I am very strong. I work out three time a week, doing yoga 3x f per week for 6months. I can do cardio for 60 minutes, I avoid spinal compression weight excercises. HOWEVER :) If I stand still for more than 20-30 seconds, I begin to freeze up. It begins to hurt, but hurts much more when I subsequently begin to move (sit, walk or whatever). It's the wierdest feeling. It's as if I am a rusty robot. The pain radiates in a large portion of my lower back. Once I am moving (10 seconds more?) it does not hurt. What is going on?

I had a one day period and cramping afterward, am I pregnant?

I am 24 and I have been trying to get pregnant for a year next month. I have a 35 day cycle, like clockwork. This cycle was supposed to start Sept 30. I sort of did but it just light pink spotting. I spotted the same the next day as well. Then nothing for 2 days and, oddly, I actually bled the morning of the 5th day. Then, just like that, it was all over. No spotting, no bleeding, but cramping!! Mild, dull cramping on the right side for 2 days now. Its not painful but its definitely there. My husband and I had 3 times 2 days after ovulation. Am I pregnant? I hope so. I took a test the day before I was supposed to start my period and it was a big fat NEGATIVE. Wah!! Anyhow, any clues? Please respond!

Catherine, Just disconnect the positive battery cable from the battery for approx. 5 minutes and that will clear all the problem codes in the computer. You may after doing that reset the clock, and the radio, but thats all there is to it. After clearing all the codes drive the car for a short distance, just to sure the check eng. light does not go on again. If it does, you will have to do the procedure all over again
